Our Methodology
Every formula in our calculator is implemented directly from primary peer-reviewed literature. When you enter height in feet and inches, or weight in pounds, the mathematical engine converts these values internally to high-precision metric equivalents (1 lb = 0.45359237 kg; 1 inch = 2.54 cm) before computing resting metabolic energy.

The Importance of Transparency & Health Boundaries
We believe health tools must be transparent about what they can and cannot do:
